Reviews
We were seated fairly quickly for breakfast. No reservations. The first thing I noticed was how ungodly hot it was inside. There are glass windows, like floor to ceiling on the one side of the room in which the sun is facing. The whole room became like a terrarium, and we were just some reptiles waiting to die. The hostess also said the heat was unbearable, so I know I'm not being too dramatic.
Service was slow. The waiter didn't come around for about 15 min to ask for drinks. Food was barely edible. The home fries must have been made in bulk and just sat around. They were hard as a rock. I'm pretty sure the omelet was made with egg beaters as it tasted terrible and was rubbery.
The whole experience was mind-boggling bad. Considering how big Foxwoods is, I expected more.
Visited twice for breakfast during our stay. Tasteless seasonless French toast. No real maple syrup is available. Great mimosas. Pretty good egg white omelet. If I ever visit again, I'll stick to drinks & dessert.
For those seeking a classic diner vibe with decent eats, this spot is a great pick - no need to splurge on a fancy dinner at the casino's top-notch joints. They have a small dining area for a quick bite/ snack, serving hot/cold beverages, pastry and deli, just a few steps from the casino area at the Fox Tower or you can dine at their restaurant right next to the Fox Tower reception desk. While the prices here may be a bit steep, the food is still quite satisfying. And let's talk about that latte - the sugar crystals on a stick slowly dissolve into the steaming coffee, creating a unique and indulgent experience. All in all, if the prices were a bit more budget-friendly, this restaurant would be a prime option for a speedy and delicious meal. Plus, the customer service is top-notch - a true cherry on top.
Such delicious food! Very nostalgic! Great staff. Cheesecake indescribably delicious! Highly recommend!
Juniors restaurant does a incredibly nice job for a large chain ,has a nice homey feel had a pastrami on rye, which was excellent with a cup of pea soup & side of fries excellent great weight staff nice background music, very clean and comfortable seating and that was served with pickled beets and coleslaw. Have not had a pastrami sandwich better than juniors have had just as good but none better at my first visit there and I'll be going back.
Picked up 2 cheesecakes- chocolate mousse cheesecake &. a smaller fruit one to go for a birthday dessert 🎂. It was rich and so delicious. Most definitely will grab them from here again.
They are the most reasonable prices for cheese cakes too! I've gone to other bakeries and they asked for 70.00 + The large chocolate mousse cheesecake was 40.00. Fed 5 adults and had plenty left over.
Looking for a special dessert for a celebration of any kind Id say this will be a hit.
Solid option if you're looking for a reasonably good diner like experience and not a fancy meal from one of the high end restaurants in the casino. Just know it is fairly expensive for what it is. A turkey club is going to run ~$20 (which is crazy). The food tastes good though. If the prices were better then this would be a fantastic option for a quick meal.
We really enjoy this place. Great Coney Island atmosphere and Olga, at the bar, is awesome. Very high quality ingredients in the menu selections. The burgers obviously contain ground steak. The macaroni and cheese is amongst the best we've had in any restaurant. The egg salad sandwiches and chicken salad sandwiches are top quality. The combo Rubin (pastrami and corned beef) is unbelievable with their homemade 1000 island dressing. Their desserts, especially their cheesecakes, are other-worldly. What a great place.
